In this scenario,I am auditor of boutique accounting and financial management firm. here is an girl Emily, who is working with our company as an intern. There is no doubt that she is doing a great job but she is so dependent girl. Emily did not understanding things easily and take too much time. We can say that every time Emily needs a helping hand with her. After few months she is going to be graduated and want to applying for jobs. There is a dilemma she want to put my name as an reference so there is a confusion what i can say about her because i know she needs to learn more for a better job. Sometimes Emily annoying us while asking number of questions.
This dilemma can be solved by telling her about her weaknesses. if we let her know what she is doing wrong then she might be work on her weak point and improved. Second, i would prefer to explained her truth about her performance at work so that she accepted my feedback and improve herself. I also said to her when she is ready for applying a job then, i would definitely put my name as an reference because she is doing accurate work but she has lack of skills that is required for a job.
Company can prevent this scenario by explaining goals and expectations of company from the employees and should tell her about any project deeply so that she can not put lot of questions.
Making an ethical decision is not a cup of tea there is a lot of difficulties to make a critical decision. But i found is much more easier after studying about the Ethical decision- making framework. This will helps me to get a best solution in every type of dilemma no matter is it about family, work and in friends. Now i think, i can solve any problems in future related about dilemma. Now i will take right decisions and analyse difference between right and wrong one.
