The Ethical Dilemma in my mind is that if a person asks for the lift to me and I am driving alone in the car. Two questions come in the mind that what of the person is the fraudster and the second question that what if the person must be in an emergency. The same is the ethical dilemma and the facts that are relevant to decide the solution. In the end I have used the following flowchart to decide that what is right and wrong. In the end the decision is that ethical that helping someone in the need is more important.
Whether I should give lift to a stranger on a highway? Is it ethical to leave the stranger in need or I might get looted by the stranger?
I cannot trust anyone on the highway when it comes to a stranger asking for the lift. In today times we listen to daily news that people are being looted on the highways in the name of asking for lifts.
But what if the person asking for lift must be in emergency or really needed the lift to reach an important destination. And if I am in a place to help him I must ethically help him to solve the problem with him and give the lift.
The dilemmas are endless and the results are infinite. According to me I will go with the ethics and will try to solve the problem of the person and will definitely give lift to the person and help him reach his destination
