The Kotter’s change model is an eight-step model. The step of this model includes, Create Urgency, Form a Powerful Coalition, Create a Vision for Change, Communicate the Vision, Remove Obstacles, Create Short-Term Wins, Build on the Change, and Anchor the Changes in Corporate Culture.
To inspire and execute change linked to lowering climate change emissions in society, the urgency for the need for change must first be established amongst citizens. The disadvantages of climate change pollution will be discussed in this context since the disadvantages will create a sense of urgency among people to effect the necessary change. Following that, a leader will be appointed to lead the necessary reforms to ensure that climate change pollutants do not have a detrimental influence on society. For this, the purpose toward which all efforts will be directed will be decided, and the means required to affect the required adjustments will be obtained. And the plan and vision will be presented to everyone concerned. Furthermore, short-term goals will be established as tiny steps toward the aim of implementing the essential adjustments. The next stage will be to study and analyse all of the activities and their effects to confirm that everything is progressing as planned. As the last phase in Kotter’s approach, adjustments will be made that will become an essential part of society, allowing it to adapt to changing conditions and environments.
