Corporate social responsibility’s strength Increased sales, improved financial performance, and a great corporate reputation are all benefits of a stronger brand. McDonald’s is a multinational food service company with 31000 local restaurants across the world. McDonald’s uses non-biodegradable materials such as polystyrene for drink glasses and styrofoam containers, which are hazardous to humans. CSR is now gaining traction around the world.
The failure of the CSR programme will be due to a lack of strategic vision, excessive regulatory demands, and a low desire to pay for CSR. Despite Mc Donald’s CSR issues, the company attempted to decrease and recycle their whole operation.

How do you think McDonalds can improve their employees satisfaction? When applying to McDonalds you are aware of the wages and perks. Do you think these are what needs to be changed? Or maybe people should apply elsewhere. If employees are not satisfied with McDonalds what could they do to help change things in the workplace.
If McDonalds changed their ingredients do you think this could affect the cost of their food? Currently McDonalds is a very affordable fast food restaurant, if they change their products to contain organic and locally made ingredients will the costs go up? Will their products taste different?
