Every workplace has some set of rules and regulations that must be followed by the employees for maintaining the healthy workplace environment. But in many situations, we all faced ethical dilemma in workplace that may be to choose between being honest and dishonest or choosing right or wrong one. I also faced this situation in my teaching experience, I witnessed a teacher tamping with her students ‘test marks.

I was shocked at that time and I asked her why you do that? She replied that she was just rounding up that grade into whole number percentage. But I was aware about that it should be determined by the cumulative average of student achievement on standardized state assessment. I realized that this is not acceptable in academic ethics as it was unfair with other students also. I decided to report this matter to the Principal but I was in dilemma what should I do? because she is also my best friend and colleague. Finally, I decided to maintain highest integrity and honesty in all academic work.So, I reported this case to the Principal so that appropriate action could be taken.
