Sony’s is an international corporation which operates in variety of products like electronic products, insurance service, and entertain people with their games, music and videos. Although, Sony’s have mission of Getting closer to their customers and vision of “fill the society with emotions, through the power of innovation. However, company engaged in many corporate social responsibilities like environmental, effective use of raw materials, responsible manufacturing of products, responsible training of its staff, assisting the local community, and innovation.

Undoubtedly, Sony’s is involved in different types of products, still they are managed to maintain good CSR. It has sound corporate governance system, variety of eco-friendly products which provide best performance with less power, gives equal recruitment opportunities from the people belonging to the different backgrounds. It also serves to the society as a responsible citizen. Apart from their stakeholders, Sony’s also perform activities to eradicate environmental problems. In 2011, Sony’s assist to reduce almost 30% co2 emission globally and they have many new environmental free programmes to begin in near future which makes it obvious that the company is not doing any green washing.

As company assist their stakeholders with their corporation social responsibility programme, stakeholders also have done so much for the company, as we all know that Sony’s products are really expensive, still people prefer to buy its products because of their social activities and prestige. Therefore, future of Sony’s CSR seems hopeful as it has planned and formed a lot of initiatives for the coming future which will create a sustainable social and economic value.
