Capitalism transforms the world into new era as it raises the living standards of people and provides all the necessary amenities to the society. No doubt, Advancement of industrial output in the recent decades revolutionized the world by serves as a boon to the economy. (King, 2021).

But on the flip side, capitalism is a great threat for our environment as expansion of industries by using non-renewable resources cause great and worst impact on soil, water and air. Industrial activities lead to major environmental disasters such as global warming, climate change, acid rain, etc. (Movahed, 2016) Our capitalism system provides subsidies to those industries which are the root cause of environmental crisis and doing almost negligible efforts to resist it due to their profits. For example, capitalist destroy the land for maximum coal supply which cause air pollution when used in industries and in turns industries emits poisoning chemicals which is threat to marine life. The emission of carbon compounds cause global warming and we already saw its negative impact just few years before in Australian bush fire. So, in future if the trend of this industrial capitalism will remain same than the whole civilization will drift towards its extinction.

Future of capitalism depends on all the citizens as collective efforts of all helps to align the practices of industrial sectors which helps to save our planet, otherwise future of planet as well as capitalism will be unpredictable. (King, 2021). However, we can’t say that there is no positive solution for this rather there is just need to rethink the policies which shows the negative effect of capitalism. (Polman & Nohria)

To conclude, capitalism will still believe the best source of prosperity in the world only need to bending its curve toward the sustainability for the betterment of future generations and even for healthy capitalism.
