In Scenario # 5, I read about Carlos who organizes afterwork meetings in pub to discuss their work and future careers for junior employees. So, the issue in this scenario that one of his employee has problem with the idea of meeting in pubs. Her name Amma who is a Muslim and does not like to go out for meetings in pub. Also, she does not like to drink alcohol which makes her uncomfortable in meeting.
So, After reading this scenario that Carlo should stop after work meetings in pubs to discuss work and future careers because some of his employees do not like to go out and discuss their future plans in front of all. Therefore, Carlos should not be socialize in public places like clubs and pub.
After that, he can meet with his employees in his office like in lunch breaks as well as after work, but in office. This is good idea to share his experience with junior employees to get success in their career and improvement in skills.
Secondly, he can prefer to meet personally to his employees who are not comfortable and can not discuss openly their point of views. This can help him to understand the needs and problems of employees to create a bond and to work as a team.
At last, He can choose to meet his junior employees according to their preferences and suggestions like where should they meet? and when? Also, Carlos should make sure about the comfort level of his employees and try to not let them uncomfortable.
After looking at this scenario, I get to know that we should take decisions ethically and look at the all reasons and problems that can arise in future. We should take decisions carefully and in ethical way in professional and personal life to avoid future problems.
