Corporate social responsibility reflects the organization’s steps taken towards the betterment of the society. Profit maximization is the primary objective of the organizations but their business still holds corporate social responsibility towards the society which they have to work on. Restaurants Brand International is the leading parent food company owning Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, etc.
RBI is majorly in the fast food business providing instant and delicious food at resoanable prices for the customers. The major pillars of corporate social responsibility of RBI are food, planet, people and community. Food is the not only the product of the company but also a top-most responsibility for them. Hence, RBI focuses majorly on serving high quality and great tasting food to every consumer. Hence, they focus majorly on food safety, improving choice, nutrition and transparency, and real ingredients. The second major pillar is Planet, we live on mother earth and we have our own responsibility to maintain and improve the situation of earth. Hence, RBI focuses continuously on reducing the environmental footprint around the world through improving policies of Packaging and recycling, Climate action, Animal welfare, Green buildings, Forest commitment, etc. The third major pillar of RBI is People and Communities. We live and work in the society to which, every business holds their responsibility. RBI works on supporting communities and enhancing livelihoods through including diversity and inclusion in their workforce, maintaining ethics and human rights inside and outside the organization, empowering employees through providing education and training to them(Restaurants Brand International, 2021). These reflects the corporate social responsibilities of RBI and its actions taken towards them.
