In scenario 5 I read that Gary, the head department called Carlos into his office and told him what Amna complained about him. He told him that Amna doesn’t like this when he and his department go to pubs every week on Thursday to discuss work and future careers. And Amna is a Muslim so that’s why she does not like to going into a pub and drink alcohol with other employees. She is feeling uncomfortable there.

So, I find some solutions to solve this problem. Firstly, Carlos can stop the after-work meetings. So, in the office, they can discuss the office work instead of doing meetings outside. Doing work in the office boosts confidence and develops social skills. With this, all junior or senior employees take part in every meeting which is held by a head department.

Secondly, they can do meetings at lunchtime on one specific day. With this, both senior and junior employees make strong relationships with each other because doing work with co-workers gives a positive attitude and work makes them happier if they do work with their coworkers and this will help them to reduce the barriers.

After that, the other option is that he can take only his favorite employees to the meeting and discuss their future career planning with them. with this, they have a few employees with him, and they make plans about their future careers. Apart from this, if he brings his favorite employees to the meeting then each of them treats each other equally as well as fairly. Moreover, they will create effective opportunities.
