UNSDGs and CSR:
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) are related to each other in a way that both are aimed at increasing the welfare of the people. The list of the 17 goals in the UNSDGs aims to increase the welfare of the people by removing the social problems and increasing the awareness among people. CSR is the responsibility of the businesses towards the society, environment, and the people in which the businesses perform various tasks and takes various decisions and steps with the aim of social and environmental welfare. For example, at the workplace, businesses are providing equal opportunities to all, irrespective of their gender. This promotes gender equality which is the fifth goal of UNSDGs. Further, businesses are working on the innovations like electric vehicles and solar energy. This is related to the 7th goal of the UNSDGs list. In this way, the UNSDGs list of goals and the CSR are related to each other. And day by day more businesses are coming forward and joining the CSR that helps the country in achieving the UNSDGs goals.
