Good work ethics is one of the most important factors in your success or failure in your career. Having a strong work ethics will create many growth opportunities, earn trust and respect from others, boost productivity, enhance reputation and happier life. Academic ethics is very important as this will develop us to become a good person by expanding our understanding to choose what is right. It also guides us to recognize ethical issues and how to address them morally. Some of the ethical dilemma that are common in the workplace and school are discrimination and harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or disability. This can cause negative effects such as mental health problems, emotional stress, anxiety disorder, depression, and reduced self-esteem. To prevent this unacceptable behavior, it is important for us to be educated and be aware of the code of conduct and values for us to be prepared to handle and address such ethical issues in an appropriate and productive manner. The school and workplace must demonstrate its concern and develop strict ethical standards for their students and employees. Studying business ethics has a big rule in our daily life, it teaches us to identify ethical issues and make ethical decisions in resolving them that gives positive impact not only to our self but for the organization. It will also teach us on how to promote ethical behavior within the organization.
